Yes. The app is free to download and use, and every core feature works for every user. Pro is optional. It removes ads, unlocks full reports and analytics, and throws in cosmetic extras like color schemes and profile banners. That's it.

Yes. A free account lets your data sync across devices and ties your contributions (heat profiles, ratings, photos) to your profile. Sign-up is fast and only needs an email.

Heat profiles are temperature and power settings that other owners have dialed in for specific devices. You see the temp, the session type, the draw technique, and a description of what to expect. The community rates them, so the good ones rise. Skip the guess-and-check.

Lab Notes are your session journals. Each entry tracks the device, strain type, temperature, mood, intensity, setting, and any freeform notes you want to leave. Over time, you build a personal reference library of what actually works for you.

Boblin is your in-app companion, a steampunk goblin who walks you through features, celebrates your milestones, and keeps things fun. VapeHeatLab launches with Boblin as the default character, with more characters, voice packs, and stylization options coming down the road.

Cloud Coins are the in-app currency. Spend them on cosmetic stuff: character accessories, profile banners, color schemes. You earn them through achievements, or you can buy them if you want to skip the grind.

Honestly? Because I'm a steampunk fan. When it came time to pick a look and feel for VapeHeatLab, steampunk was the obvious move. Brass gears, goblin companions, a world with actual personality. Vape apps don't need to be boring, and most of them are. I wanted something I'd actually want to open, and steampunk gave me the excuse to make every screen feel like a workshop.

VapeHeatLab was built to help you learn about vaping, track your sessions, manage your devices, and see what's working for everyone else. That's the core. But a companion app should also be something you actually enjoy opening. So we added achievements, a character you level up to unlock features, and mini-games to fill the time between sessions. More game content's on the way.

320+ vaporizers across six categories: Portable Dry Herb Vapes, Desktop Dry Herb Vapes, Desktop Ball Vapes, Manual Dry Herb Vapes, E-Rigs, and Wax Pens / Oil Pens. New ones get added regularly.

The catalog is managed by hand to keep it accurate. If your device is missing, send us a note and we'll add it. In the meantime, you can still create heat profiles with a custom device name.

Every listing should be accurate. If you spot a wrong spec, miscategorization, or anything off, use the contact form below. Include the device name and what needs fixing, and we'll get it sorted.

We're working through 320+ devices to get official photos from each manufacturer. Until that's done, anything without a confirmed photo shows a default placeholder. Once the app launches, you'll be able to submit your own photo for any missing device. If it's approved, your photo becomes the official image across the app and website.

By default, everything is private. You decide what gets shared with individual toggles: lab notes, heat profiles, device collection, and stats each have their own sharing control. Your profile itself can be public or private. Your call.

Pro subscribers can export their session history and Lab Notes as CSV. Useful for keeping your own backup or running your own analysis outside the app.
